So you've run a giveaway, and now you want to analyze its success. You can use participation statistics to see how users interacted with your giveaway, and how the promotion evolved.

The advanced statistics module produces an instant, detailed analysis of your giveaways. The module includes:

• number of unique users
• charts showing participation per day
• peak participation times
• percentage and distribution of participants from different social networks
• top participants
• download data in a range of formats
• download charts in a range of formats

Note 1: Access to the Statistics is only available once the draw has already concluded.

Note 2: Advanced statistics are only available for accounts with the Basic PRO plan or above. You can access statistics about giveaways on Facebook, Instagram and with the Multi-Network app.

In this tutorial, we'll review all the features of the Advanced Statistics module, and all the ways you can download the data.

1. Advanced Statistics

You can access the following data:

Totals per day

The chart shows the total number of comments received per day during the giveaway.

Totals per hour

The chart shows the total number of comments received each hour of the day. Comments from every day of the promotion are added together, and organized by the time they were made.

Unique per day

The chart shows the number of unique participants registered each day during the promotion.

Unique per hour

The chart shows the number of unique participants registered each hour during the promotion. Participants from every day of the promotion are added together, and organized by the time they registered.

Most active

Use this feature to see the users who have interacted most with the promotion. The total number of comments is displayed for each user, as well as the social network from which they participated in the giveaway (in case of a Multi-network giveaway).

Totals - Last 7 days per hour

It shows the total number of comments received per hour of the day over the last 7 days.

Unique - Last 7 days per hour

It shows the number of unique users received per hour of the day over the last 7 days.

If you run a multi-network giveaway, you can access participation statistics for each network you use. This means that you can analyze the success of the giveaway on individual networks. The following statistics are available:

Totals by social network 

The chart shows the total number of comments received from each social network. It also shows the percentage of all comments which came from each network.

Unique by social network

The chart shows the number of unique participants registered from each social network. It also shows the percentage of all participants who came from each network.

Note: You can also select social networks to compare. To compare social networks, click on the network which you do not want to view in the comparison.

2. Download formats

You can download statistics and charts in a range of formats. Click the download button in the upper right of each chart. You will see the following options:
