The "Validate Receipts" application in its White Label version offers a more advanced and automatic validation of purchase tickets uploaded by users through OCR technology, a system that allows the recognition of text in images. This functionality automatically analyzes the content of the ticket uploaded by the user to verify that it meets the conditions or rules that it must include in order to be considered as valid.
Until now, three different validation conditions could be set:
- Condition of presence of one or more texts: This rule allows searching for a specific text within the ticket. For example, the name of a business.
- Condition on the purchase amount: The user must enter the amount of the purchase ticket and the system will check that the amount is present on the ticket, and will validate that the amount meets the minimum amount established in the validation condition.
- Unique code presence condition: The user must enter a unique code present on the ticket (for example, the ticket ID) and the system will verify that the code is on the ticket and that no other user has registered it before.
To these three conditions, a fourth condition has been added that allows a more exhaustive verification of the purchase ticket or receipt uploaded by the user: the condition on the date of the receipt. This condition allows you to indicate in which date range the purchase ticket is valid, so that the system will try and automatically detect the ticket dates to determine if the ticket is valid.
Example: Purchase tickets will be valid only if they were issued from a certain date on, for instance, the promotion is launched end of August and tickets will be valid from August 30. The system will verify the date of the ticket and will only consider as valid the tickets whose date meets the condition.
