Designed to help administrators save time when preparing and distributing prizes throughout their campaigns, the Instant Win Scheduler has been updated with new options in the promotion editor. 

With the updated Instant Win scheduler tool, generating Instant Wins and distributing them evenly so users receive prizes throughout the promotion period is now faster and more efficient, ensuring a smoother setup process and a more engaging experience for participants.

Indeed, Instant Wins can now be created in bulk following specific rules: assigning the Instant Wins on specific weeks of the day or within specific hours range. The administrator can also generate all prizes at once, and create a frequency rule, for Instant Wins to be evenly distributed per hour, day or weeks. 

How to add creation rules in the Instant Win Scheduler

The Instant Win Scheduler tool is available under the Prizes section of the promotion editor, once you have created your prizes from the Inventory.

The following options are available to generate the Instant Wins:

• Which prizes do you want to schedule? Generate the Instant Wins for all prizes at once, or select the specific prize for which you want to create the Instant Wins.
• How many prize units do you want to schedule? If you are creating Instant Wins for a specific prize, select how many prize units you want to generate Instant Wins for.

Next, select the rules for creating the Instant Wins: 

• Start and End date: select the date range within which the Instant Wins will be randomly generated. You can select the start and end dates of the promotion if you want the prizes to be randomly distributed throughout the entire campaign.
• How do you want to distribute the Instant Wins: 
  • Randomly across the whole period: the Instant Wins will be generated completely at random within the range indicated. 
  • Evenly distributed per hour: the system will attempt to generate an even distribution of Instant Wins for each hour within the selected range.
  • Evenly distributed per day: the system will attempt to generate an even distribution of Instant Wins for each day within the selected range.
  • Evenly distributed per week: the system will attempt to generate an even distribution of Instant Wins for each week included within the selected range.
• On which days should Instant Wins be scheduled? Choose whether you want to generate Instant Wins on all days of the week, or exclude specific days. For example, if the promotion runs in a store open from Monday to Friday, exclude Saturdays and Sundays, and the system will not assign any prizes on weekends.
• At what hours should Instant Wins be scheduled? Select the hours when the Instant Wins can be generated. Useful if you want to avoid Instant Wins and prizes distributed overnight.
