2026-09-24 - New feature in contests: Moderate content in bulk Follow
Easypromos Contest applications allow you to moderate entries before publishing them and display candidates' multimedia content in the public contest gallery.
To facilitate and speed up the management of a large number of entries, we have added the option to moderate candidates in bulk. This functionality allows you to change the status of multiple candidates simultaneously based on a list of their entry IDs.
How to moderate contest content in bulk?
The bulk moderation process consists of three steps:
Step 1. Export the entries to a .CSV file
The first step is to export the entries from the corresponding stage so that you can review and classify the candidates.
To do this, go to Promotion Editor > Participation stages > and under the Candidate Management tab, select the corresponding category, and click "Export entries":
A CSV file containing the entry information will be generated. To perform bulk moderation, the data used to identify each candidate is the Participation ID, which you will find in the first column of the file:
Step 2. Create the candidate lists
Using the exported CSV file, the contest administrator or jury members can review the entries and create the candidate lists to be moderated.
You must create one list containing the Participation ID of the candidates you want to accept and another containing the Participation IDs of the candidates you want to reject.
Each list must contain one identifier per candidate and be saved in CSV format.
Note: The lists of accepted and rejected candidates must be prepared externally, outside the Easypromos platform.
Step 3. Upload the list and apply the moderation action
Once the lists are ready, you can upload them to the promotion to change the status of candidates in bulk.
Go to Editor > Participation stages > and under the Candidate Management tab, access the corresponding category, and select the "Moderate in bulk" option:
A popup will open where you can upload the CSV file generated in the previous step. You can also enter the Participation IDs directly in the text field:
Once the IDs are read, confirm the action you want to apply:
- Change the candidate status to Pending.
- Change the candidate status to Accepted (displayed in the public gallery)
- Change the candidate status to Rejected.
Once done, the system will confirm the number of candidates updated and actions applied and let you know if any error was found, if the file included duplicates or the participation ID indicated in the file could not be found in the promotion:
Candidate visibility in the gallery
Candidates with an accepted status will be visible in the public contest gallery. If voting is also active and the voting dates are open, visitors will be able to start voting for these candidates.
Candidates with a pending or rejected status will not be visible or able to receive votes in the public gallery.
