2026-10-05 – Improvements and new navigation options for the voting contest user experience Follow
Contest applications allow promotion administrators to organize a transparent and fair voting process, where users can vote for their favorite candidate or candidates. In addition, in the White Label version of the platform, administrators can set up multiple categories with voting processes managed in parallel.
To continue improving the end-user experience in contests, we are introducing the following three navigation improvements to make it easier for users to participate in voting contests with multiple categories:
- Access to the contest category list from the galleries
- Access to the contest category list after voting
- Grouping galleries in which the user has already voted
We detail the three improvements below:
1. Access to the contest category list from the galleries
Users will have a new link that allows them to easily access the page displaying all the available stages and categories of the contest. This makes it easier to navigate between the different contest categories, allowing users to select the next category in which they wish to participate and vote:
2. Access to the contest category list after voting for a specific candidate
Once their vote has been validated, the participant will see a link within the participation validation popup that will redirect them to the promotion's stage list, where they can select the next category and gallery in which they can vote.
3. Grouping galleries that the user has already voted in
An option has been added that administrators can easily configure to group at the end of the list the stages in which the user has already participated. This way, stages in which the user has not yet voted are prioritized, as they will appear first on the screen and be easier to identify, making participation easier and improving the browsing experience.
You can enable the option to "Group stages with no entries available at the bottom" from the editor of the contest > Participation stages section > under the Stages list page tab:
Note: The option to "Group stages with no entries available at the bottom" is also available and applies to the different stage types of multi-stage promotions: Multi-game, Digital coupon book, Multi-round score predictor, Advent calendar and All-in-One.
