The different applications included in the "Quizzes" category have been improved with several new features and options. Specifically, the following new features have been incorporated:
- Show a progress bar in the quiz
- Option to be able to change the answers of the questionnaire
- Confirmation popup window in case the user reloads the quiz page
- Improvement in the export tool of participations in questions with multiple answers
1. Show a progress bar in the quiz
In questionnaires with more than one question, by default the system adds a pagination at the bottom of the page that shows the number of questions that the questionnaire includes, and the number of the question the user is answering at the moment:
A configuration option has been added that incorporates the possibility to show a progress bar. In this way, the administrator will be able to choose how to show the user's progress in the questionnaire:
- Show the total number of questions
- Show the progress bar.
In this way, if you choose the "Progress bar" option, it will be shown as follows:
Until now, after selecting an answer to a question, the user did not have the possibility to change their answers. As of today, a new option has been added in the Quiz Editor to allow the user to modify their answers in the quiz.
Note: This option affects all the questions in the questionnaire. If the option is enabled, the user will be able to change the answer to any of the questions in the questionnaire.
Thus, if this option is enabled, the user will be able to click directly on the question number for which they want to change their answer, or if the progress bar has been enabled, they will be able to click on the back arrow to reach the question that they wish to modify:
In case a user has started to answer the quiz and for some reason clicks on the reload or refresh button, the answers to the different questions will not be saved, and the user will be sent back to the first question of the questionnaire, to start over.
To prevent users from losing their answers to the quiz, a warning pop-up window has been added that will appear to the user in case they accidentally click on reload the page, so that they can confirm that they in fact really want to start over :
Quizzes allow you to create advanced questions to present several alternatives on the same page, each one with its own set of answer, as we can see in the following example:
To facilitate the extraction of data for this type of question, in the exportable file with the list of participants and their answers in the questionnaire, a new column has been added for each sub-question including the answers of each user. This allows the information corresponding to each question to be displayed in a more organized and structured way.
