The Login method via phone allows users to participate in the promotion by identifying themselves with their mobile phone number.
In this way, once the user enters their phone number, they will receive a SMS with a code, which they must enter in the promotion to verify their number and continue with the registration and participation process.
The verification of the users' phone number works with the SMS package system, which the administrator must purchase so that the text messages with the code can be sent to the users.
Below we answer the main FAQs related to the SMS package purchase system:
1. Does sending SMS have an additional cost to verify users' phone numbers?
Yes, in order to enable Login via Phone and to verify the users phone number, it is necessary to buy a SMS package. The purchase of the SMS package is additional to subscription cost of a monthly plan or to the cost of activating an individual promotion.
Below we detail the price of the different SMS packages that can be purchased:
- Pack of 100 SMS: 15 $/€.
- Pack of 500 SMS: 75 $/€.
- Pack of 2 500 SMS: 300 $/€.
- Pack of 5 000 SMS: 600 $/€.
- Pack of 10 000 SMS: 1000 $/€.
- Pack of 25 000 SMS: 2500 $/€.
- Pack of 50 000 SMS: 4500 $/€.
2. What if I don’t use all the SMS I’ve bought?
The purchase of the SMS package is made at the Easypromos account level, not at the individual promotion level. This means that purchased SMS can be used for any promotion created on the account. In this way, the SMS that were not consumed are accumulated in the account, and can be used for any other promotion you launch.
Purchased SMSs that were not used do not expire, so if there is any SMS left from a promotion that has already ended, you can use them for your next campaigns.
3. What if I run out of SMS in an active promotion while the participation is still open?
In case you run out of SMS in your Easypromos account, the Login field of your promotion(s) will be disabled, so that users will not be able to continue participating by logging in with their phone number. In this case, a message will appear indicating to the user that the identification via Telephone has been temporarily disabled in the promotion.
4. Do I receive any kind of notice or notification in case I run out of SMS on my account?
Yes, the system will send an email notification to the account administrator after 80% of the account’s SMS package has been consumed. In the same way, the system will send a second notification via email once the SMS package is exhausted.
On the other hand, from the promotion management page you can see at all times the consumption of SMS and the number available on the account, for greater control of the available SMS:
5. Where can I see SMS consumption and buy more packages?
From the menu Settings > Account management section of the dashboard, you will be able to check at all times the SMS consumed and the percentage of SMS still available. From this same section, you can purchase a new SMS package.
6. Can I pay for the SMS package via bank transfer?
Yes, in addition to Credit card and Paypal payments, we accept bank transfer as a payment method to purchase SMS packages. This option is available from the 2,500 SMS package, and has an extra charge for administrative management of $15/€. In this case, you should contact us and we will help you manage it.
The purchase of SMS packages less than 2,500 must be made by credit card from the administration panel itself. An automatic invoice will be generated after completing the payment.
