Tutorial: How to manage your Design templates Follow
The Design templates tool is an exclusive feature for customers with an active White Label or Corporate plan. This feature allows the account manager to customize the styles of a promotion and save its design as a unique template for the account agents. In this way, agents will be able to create new promotions easily and in a few minutes, using the same styles and design configuration defined by the administrator, such as text colors, fonts, button and link colors and styles, etc.
Note: To create design templates and use them when creating new promotions, you will need to have an active White Label or Corporate plan in your Easypromos account.

1. Description of the design templates
The design module includes a wide range of tools and customization options that offers administrators the possibility to work on the design of promotions to fit the look and feel of the brand or company.
In order to facilitate day-to-day management, Easypromos accounts with an active White Label or Corporate plan offer the possibility to save design configurations as templates, to have them available for all promotions, and save time when creating new campaigns.
In this way, account agents will be able to work on the design of a promotion and once all the necessary adjustments are made, they can save the design configurations as a template, making it available to all account agents so that they can apply it in future promotions.
Important: The design elements that apply to the different promotion pages will be saved in the design templates: text color, buttons, container presentation (...).
Header images of the different promotion pages and the game images, on another hand, won’t be saved in the template.
2. How to create a design template
We explain step-by-step how to create a design template below:
Step 1. Create a default promotion
The first step is to create a promotion in your account, which you will then use as a default promotion to work on the different design configurations. The next promotions can use the same design you used in the default promotion, regardless of the application used. You can create the first promotion using any of the applications available in the Easypromos portfolio.
Step 2. Customize its design
Next, enter the Editor of the promotion > Design. There you will find the different editing tabs that will allow you to customize the different elements of the promotion design:

Step 3. Save your design as a new template
Once you have edited and customized the different elements of the promotion design, you can save all the settings as a template. To do this, go to the section Editor > Design > Template and click on the button "Create template":
A popup window will open where you can customize the following points to create the template:
- Template name.
- Template scope. You can decide the scope of the template, which will determine where it can be applied:
- Global: The template will be available and can be applied in all promotions that are created in the account.
- Organizing brand: The template will only be available in your next promotions created for the same brand.
After following these steps, you will have created a design template that can be used for future promotions created in the account.
Note: You can manage your design templates from your Dashboard, under the Settings section > Templates > Design templates.
3. How to apply a template design to your promotion
For each new promotion that you create in your account, you can apply the design of a template that you have created previously, to save time in the customization of the different design elements (texts, links, colors, etc…) and ensure that all of the promotions present the same design, aligned with the Look and Feel of each of the brands you manage.
You can add an existing Design template from the Editor of the new promotion, under the Design section.
To apply a Design template, follow the steps shown below:
1. After creating the promotion, enter its Editor > Design > Template.
2. In the "Change template" subsection, you will find a list of all the templates available in your account.
3. Select the template you want to apply to change the promotion layout. When you click on it, you will see on the right side of the screen a design preview of the template you have selected:
4. Once the template you want to use is applied, click the "Save changes" button.
5. If needed, you can return to the original design by clicking on the "Undo" button.

Before you confirm and apply the template, you can preview its design on the right of the screen.
Once the template has been applied, you will be able to see at all times which template was used:
4. Management of the design template
You can access the list of your templates from the Settings of your dashboard > Templates section > Design Templates. There you will be able to consult and manage the design templates created in the account
You can see there all the templates created in the account, see what is the scope of each one (global or by organizing brand), edit their basic information or delete them:
5. Can I see if a design has been created from a template?
Yes, for each of your promotions you can see at all times if its design was generated from one of your Templates. You will find this information in the section Editor > Design > Template:
6. How can I apply changes to an existing template?
To edit and apply changes to your design template, enter the Editor of your template promotion or any of the promotions where you used that template, and under the Design section, make the changes you need, for example, changing the main color, font, adapt the appearance of the container, etc.
Once all the design changes have been made, access the "Template" subsection under Design. The system will indicate the number of edits that have been made to the original template, and will give you the option to update the template by saving these changes:
7. If I make changes to an existing template, does it automatically apply to my other promotions that were created using that template?
No, changes to a template will not apply to other active promotions that were generated using the same template. Their design will remain the same - if you want, you can enter and re-apply the design template from the editor in these promotions so that the last version of your Design template will be applied.
