Concurrency limit and waiting room Follow
The “Concurrency limit” is a security measure related to the number of users that can access a promotion simultaneously. The limit is measured by requests per minute. A request is an action carried out by a user who, for example, accesses one of the pages of the promotion, sends a form, plays a game, etc.
When the limit per minute is reached, any new users are redirected to the “Waiting room”, a customizable page where the users are asked to try again after a while.

Statistics of access to the Waiting room
1. Limit of concurrent users
The limit of concurrent users is per promotion. These are the limits of concurrent users depending on the version:
- Basic: 50 requests per minute.
- Premium: 150 requests per minute.
- White Label: 300 requests per minute.
- Corporate: 500 requests per minute.
- Corporate plus: 800 requests per minute
Note: If you need to increase the limit of concurrent users, please contact our sales team so they can analyze your campaign and make you a tailored quotation.
2. How does the limit of concurrent users work
- The limit is measured by requests per minute.
- A request is a visit by a user to one of the pages of the promotion: welcome page, registration form, participation page, etc.
- The limit of concurrent users is calculated per minute. At 00 seconds of each minute, the request counter is reset to 0 and starts counting again for each request.
- For example: If the limit of concurrent users is 300 requests per minute and the counter reaches 300 in the 48th second, during the next 12 seconds, any new user that tries to access the promotion will be redirected to a page called the “Waiting room”, which shows a message asking the users to try again after a while.
- When the next minute starts, the counter is reset to 0, and new users can access the promotion. The users in the Waiting room can try again.
3. Customizing the Waiting room
The content of the Waiting room can be customized from the Editor of the promotion, in the Pages section > Waiting room.
Specifically, the following elements can be customized:
- Header image.
- Message to the user. By default, this message is shown: “Sorry! The limit of concurrent users has been reached.”, but this can be edited.
- The label for the 'Try again' button.
Note 1: At the moment, the content of the Waiting room page doesn’t have multi-language support.
Note 2: The changes made in the content of this page can take one hour to appear in the promotion because of the system’s cache.
4. Statistics of access to the Waiting room
If the promotion has exceeded the limit of concurrent users at any time, the system will internally register the visits of users who have been redirected to the Waiting Room page. These visits can be consulted in the promotion’s Statistics section so that the administrator can incorporate this data into their reports.
Specifically, the Statistics section shows the following information registered on the Waiting room page:
1. Day by day. This indicates the evolution of the number of users redirected to the Waiting Room page throughout the promotion period. The graph shows the number of users per day.
2. Day of the week. This shows the number of users redirected to the Waiting Room page by day of the week so you can see which day of the week the most users have been redirected to this page.
3. Time of day. This shows the number of users redirected to the Waiting Room page by time of day so you can see what time of day more users have been redirected to this page.
