A new option has been uploaded to the promotions that work with the platform's 2.0 engine (promotions that work with the Login system) which allows you as promotion administrator to hide the first and last names fields from the registration form, so as not to request this information from the users.

This option is found in the Editor of your promotion > Pages: Login and Registration > Registration section:

This option allows you to ease the registration step, to request only the users' information you do not possess, and eventually to leave off every fields, to only request the explicit consent from users for the Legal texts of the promotion and a "Continue" button.

When can this feature be useful?

A use case where this functionality can be useful is in case of enabling the "Customer Number" Login, where users must identify themselves with a unique code.

In this case, as the administrator already has the first and last name of the client, as well as the necessary client information, they can decide to request the customer card number/ID only, without asking for any personal data.

In this case, the users will identify themselves on the Login screen with their customer card number, and on the registration form page, will only be asked to accept the legal texts of the promotion (Terms and Conditions and Privacy policies).

Note: if this option is enabled, users will participate without providing their First and Last Name.  It will therefore not be possible to obtain this information.
