2024-02-12 - New type of stage in Multi-stage promotions: "Form" stage Follow
For Multi-stage promotions, such as a Multi-game promotion or an Advent Calendar, a new stage called "Form" has been added, allowing you to create a stage that requires users to complete a form with additional fields.
Thus, to participate in the promotion, the user must first complete the registration form specific to the promotion, which by default includes fields such as Name, Last Name, and Email, along with accepting the Legal Terms and Privacy Policy of the promotion.
Now, with the implementation of the new "Form" stage type, the administrator can present users with a form that they must fill out to provide additional data. To complete the participation stage, the user must fill out the fields presented in the form.
The administrator will be able to customize the form with all types of fields available on the platform (additional text fields, drop-down lists, radio button lists, additional checkboxes, Signature field, Document field, etc.).
To add the new "Form" stage type, follow these steps:
1. First, go to the Editor > Participation stages > New stage. In the dropdown menu, you will find the new stage named "Form". Once the stage is selected, you will access the stage management panel.
2. Next, you can customize the form with the fields you need.
3. You'll be able to customize the look and feel of the Form page through the following options:
4. Finally, you will be able to configure which screen and message the user will see after completing the Form stage. Specifically, you can configure the following two options:
- Redirect to Final Page: After completing the Form stage, the user will be automatically redirected to the Final page of the promotion, so the user will see the message you configure in the Editor > Pages > Final section.
-
Display a Custom Message: You can customize a screen with a personalized message that will be shown to the user after completing the Form stage, with text and an image. By default, on this screen, two buttons will also appear:
- The "Finish" button, which will take the user to the Final page of the promotion, where the message configured in the Editor > Pages > Final section will be displayed.
- The "Back" button, which will take the user to the Promotion Stages List page.
Note: All information provided by users through the Form Stage can be accessed from the "Users" section of the promotion, and all data is included in the downloadable "Participations" file.
