An update was recently implemented in the platform, to standardize the phone field in the entry form. With the new phone field, users must select the country code of their phone number to fill in the field. To make the registration process easier for users, we have added a new feature: preferred countries. 

This new feature allows the administrator of the promotion to configure country codes from specific countries, shown with priority in the phone field or Login system. This improvement enables the country codes of the most relevant or frequent countries to be presented at the top of the country list, making the selection process easier for the user. 

The countries configured as preferred will have the following properties: 

• Preferred countries will always appear at the top of the dropdown list of country codes.
• They can be ordered among themselves, allowing the administrator to choose the exact order in which each country code will appear in the dropdown list.
• The first country of your preferred country codes will appear as the default preselected option in the field.

How to configure it?

To add preferred countries to the phone field, enter the Editor of your promotion > Login and Registration. Once inside the form, access the phone field.

Once open, you will find the "Preferred countries" section. Here, you can add and order the preferred countries. This way, the country codes of these countries will appear first in the list. 

Under the phone field > Countries, you can also select the countries of the promotion to restrict the registration to users with a phone number from one of the valid countries of the promotion.
