2024-05-23 - New functionality: Virtual Coins Follow
A new functionality has been added to the platform, which allows administrators to offer new promotional dynamics to their audience: the Virtual Coins.
With Easypromos "Virtual Coins" functionality, you can transfer the traditional points program or rewards program to the digital world. Users will get coins or points after participating in the promotion, and can then exchange the coins obtained for prizes or rewards.
Thus, you can present to users the catalog of prizes that they can get, along with their "cost" in coins or points, which will function as an incentive to participate in the promotion. Users will accumulate points for each completed participation until they can redeem them for the desired prize.
In the following video, you can see the user experience for the client participating in the promotion. In this example, for each validated code, the user obtains 10 coins, which can be exchanged for one of the prizes offered in the promotion:
Check out the user experience in our DEMO here.
With the Virtual Coins functionality, you will be able to:
- Customize the name and icon of your digital currency: you can call it coins, points, or whatever term best suits your brand or business. Additionally, you can upload the image that will represent the "coin" icon, which is shown in different locations and points in the promotion.
-
Create coin allocation rules when participating: you can configure the number of coins that users will receive when the user meets the rule configured by the promotion administrator. Currently, 2 types of rules can be applied:
-
Upon participating: allows you to award X number of virtual coins for completing a participation. Examples:
- Assign 20 coins for uploading a valid purchase receipt.
- Assign 20 coins for entering a valid code.
-
By score: allows you to award X virtual coins for the points obtained when participating. Examples:
- Minimum: award 10 coins to all users who have received a minimum of 300 points in the game.
- For each: award 1 coin for every 100 points the user obtains in the game.
- Rank: award 5 coins if the user scores between 400 and 500 points.
-
Multiple rules: you can create and combine several rules. In this case, coins will be assigned for each rule that apply. Example:
- If you give 3 coins for participating, and 5 coins for exceeding 100 points in a game, if a user plays and scores 150 points, they will receive 8 coins in total.
-
Upon participating: allows you to award X number of virtual coins for completing a participation. Examples:
- Configure the cost of the prizes: you can create the catalog of prizes that users can exchange for coins and indicate the cost of each reward in coins.
- Set prizes to award a certain number of coins: you can create prizes that represent and will assign a specific number of coins to the user. Example: in a prize wheel, a prize of the type "By probability" or "By Instant Win" can be created, which automatically assigns the user 30 coins. Users who land on this segment will receive 30 coins.
- Customize the prize redemption page: you can present the catalog of prizes that users will be able to redeem in exchange for their coins.
Note: the Virtual Coin is a transversal functionality, which means that it can be applied in any type of participation stage (Validate purchase receipt, validate code, prize Wheel, Scratch and Win, Timed Quiz, Puzzle game, etc).
The functionality is only available in promotions created in the White Label version of the platform.
