By default, promotions do not restrict any participation, so users from any country may participate in them. From the "Restrictions" section of the editor of your promotion, however, you can specific the countries from which users are allowed to participate in the promotion, thus limiting participation to one or several specified countries (based on the IP of the user).

An additional feature has been added, allowing you to indicate from which country or countries participation is NOT possible. Users from these countries will not be able to access the content of the promotion or register. This way, you can restrict the countries that cannot participate in the promotion. 

How to configure it?

To exclude countries, enter the Editor of the promotion > Restrictions section > Countries, and specify which country or countries users will not be allowed to participate from: 

Once you have entered the countries you want to exclude, a list of each selected country will be displayed. These can be removed at any point, if you decide not to restrict participation from one or more countries after all:
