We have added an update to the platform that affects the "Mention + Hashtag" and "Hashtag + Registration" applications. Until now, these two applications were created with the old Easypromos engine (promotions classified as Classic). After standardizing all Easypromos applications to work with the new Easypromos engine, these two applications have been unified into a new application called "Instagram Contest with Hashtag".

This means that administrators will no longer be able to use the "Mention + Hashtag" and "Hashtag + Registration" applications, as they have been discontinued, and from now on you have to use the new "Instagram Contest with Hashtag" application, which allows you to organize a contest where users can participate by uploading photos and videos to Instagram.

With this update, the following actions have been carried out:

1. The option to create Mention + Hashtag and Hashtag + Registration contests has been removed.
2. The option to create a copy of a Mention + Hashtag and Hashtag + Registration contests has been removed.
3. The new "Contest on Instagram with hashtag" application has been launched, replacing the previous products.

How does the new "Instagram Contest with Hashtag" app work?

The new "Instagram Contest with Hashtag" application allows you to organize a contest where users can participate with photos, videos, or reels uploaded on their Instagram profile.

Users can participate in the contest in two ways:

1. Through the contest website itself, both for public and private profiles: Users must register, accept the terms & conditions and privacy policy of the contest, and connect their Instagram account to be able to select the photo, video, or reel they want to participate in the contest with.
2. By publishing the photo, video, or reel directly in the feed without going to the contest website (public profiles): The application includes the content monitor, which allows you to automatically import photos, videos, or reels from public Instagram profiles that mention the organizing brand and include a specific hashtag in the description of the post into the contest.
