Until now, the distribution of the number of segments for each specific prize types on the wheel depended on the total units of each prize. When one prize had more units than the others, if an additional segment was added to the wheel, it would be assigned to the prize with the most units. In this way, the design of the wheel was conditioned to the number of the prizes to be distributed.

With this new functionality, you will be able to configure the number of segments uniformly, without depending on the units of each prize.

How to configure it?

In the prize wheel configuration, a new feature, the "Prize Distribution", has been added.

To configure it, enter the Editor of your promotion > Participation section, and enter to edit the Wheel. Under the Spin the Wheel tab, you will find the "Prize distribution" feature and can select the "Uniform" option:

When adding more segments, the system will assign new segments in the order of creation of your prizes, rather than based on the available units of the prizes.

In the following example, the prizes were created in the following order: Prize 1 was created first (500 units), then Prize 2 (200 units), Prize 3 (100 units) and lastly the "Trip to New York" prize (1 unit) was created. The distribution of the segments will be different if these are generated based on the units of prizes or uniformly, as shown below.
