1. Overview
The "Pick Your Favorite" is an interactive dynamic where users must select their preferred option from several alternatives and can discover other participant's preferences. After making their choice, users can share their Pick on social media, download a personalized image with their selection, and see which option was the most popular among other players. It is a quick and straightforward game, ideal for encouraging participation and generating interaction in viral campaigns.
Specifically, in this tutorial, we explain all the steps that will allow you to create the "Pick Your Favorite" promotion.
The "Pick Your Favorite" quiz presents the following features:
- You can upload up to 12 images as options for users to choose from. This allows you to showcase products, characters, or any other visual content related or relevant to the brand.
- The user will select only one option from the presented proposals, providing a simple and direct experience.
- You can configure it so that users can not only see the results of their favorite but also have the possibility to share their choice on social media and download an image with their final selection.
- Multiple options to reward participants: You raffle one or more prizes among all participants, give direct prizes, etc.
2. How does the user participation flow work?
What will the user participation experience be like? The promotion consists of different pages that the user will encounter when interacting with the promotion to participate, such as the welcome landing page, the form page where the user registers with their details, the page presenting the "Pick Your Favorite," etc. Altogether, the different pages will form the structure of the promotion and the participation flow that the user will follow to complete the promotional mechanics.
Additionally, as an administrator, you can select which participation flow you want users to follow. Specifically, there are three different participation flows: Identified Mode, where the user must identify themselves and register before playing; Visitor Mode, where the user plays first and then identifies and registers; and Anonymous Mode, where the user participates without identifying or registering. The choice of one mode or another will determine how participation and the user experience in the promotion will be.
3. Create the promotion
How do you start creating your "Pick Your Favorite" promotion? We present the following tutorial, which will allow you to understand the first steps to create your promotion so you don't miss any important points. You will learn all the general management options available to you as an administrator in your internal panel for managing and editing the promotion.
4. Set up the "Pick Your Favorite"
Next, we will explain all the steps to create the "Pick Your Favorite" quiz.
To do this, enter the promotion Editor > Pages > Participation, and click the Edit/pencil icon to start configuring the game.
You can now begin to customize the game from the "Pick Your Favorite" tab, where you will find the following customization options:
Step 1. Configure the options to choose from
In the "Options" tab, you will find the tools to customize the presentation and design of the options that users will need to choose from. Specifically, you can customize the following points:
- Display the options randomly. By default, the options are presented in the order they were uploaded. If you enable this option, they will be displayed randomly.
- Option. In this section, you can upload the images of the options that users will choose from. Images can be uploaded individually or in bulk.
Additionally, for each option, you may configure the following:
- Title: Name of the image. If you upload images in bulk, the platform will select the file name as the title automatically.
- Image. The uploaded image can be changed or viewed from this section.
- Assign an automatic color. If you enable this option, the platform will automatically assign colors based on the predominant tones in the image itself. If you do not enable it, you can choose a different text color for each option.
Example: As we can see in the following screenshot, the system assigns a different automatic color for the title and background of each option based on the color detected in the uploaded image:
Step 2. Customize the quiz design
Under the "Design" tab, you will find all the options that allow you to customize the design of the quiz screen. Specifically, you will find the following options:
- Introduction Message. You can add a message that will be displayed at the top of the screen.
- Options. You can adjust various design elements of the image, such as the border, decide of you want to display the option name, select the background color of the image, among others.
- Board. You can customize the following aspects of the background of the quiz screen:
- Effects. Allows you to activate a visual effect with stars that will appear when selecting an option.
Step 3. Final Screen
In the "Final Screen" tab, you can customize the screen that users will see once they have confirmed their selection. This screen can be personalized with the following elements:

Select the page to edit. This option allows you to edit the page that users will see after completing the quiz. Specifically, you can customize the following pages:
- Page after selecting the favorite option. This is the page the user will access after confirming their favorite option.

- Destination page of the shared link. If you enable the option to share the user's pick, you will be prompted to edit the destination page of the shared link, which is the page that users will see when they click on the content shared by the user.
Note: to customize this page, it is necessary to have the option "Show the favorite option to share" enabled, which appears under the "Favorite Option" section.
- Introduction Message. Message that the user will see at the end of the quiz.
- Chart with results. You can choose to display a chart with the results, which corresponds to the number of votes for each option and percentages. You can select how many of the most popular options to show.
- Favorite Option. You can enable the display of the user's favorite option so they can share it. If you activate this option, the user will see the image of the option they voted for, along with a button to download it and to share the image with their friends and contacts. Additionally, you can edit the content to share on social media, as well as include a background image that will appear behind the selected option image.
5. Customize the design and finalize the setup
Once you have configured the quiz, the next step is to complete the setup and customize the rest of the promotion: customize the design template with your own colors and texts, introduce the legal texts, add the viral content, etc.

6. Management and publication of winners

Specifically, for the "Pick Your Favorite", you have different ways to assign the prize to the winners, depending on your choice:

7. Statistics of the options voted by users
The administrator of the promotion will be able to check at any time which are the most popular options among users who participated in the promotion. There are two ways to view the options voted by users to work on the final report of the campaign.
