2025-01-20 - New option available in Visitor Mode: restrict the form to winners only. Follow
A new feature has been implemented for promotions that work with the identification system in Visitor Mode: this option allows registration to be limited only to users who have won a prize.
Visitor Mode allows users to participate and interact with the promotion dynamic without having to register first. Until now, when a promotion had Visitor Mode enabled, after participating, users could access the identification and registration page to, for example, claim their won prize or enter the final draw.
Now, the administrator will have the option to restrict registration only to users who have won a prize. This way, the participation and registration flow will differ for users based on whether or not they hace received a prize:
- Winning user: after participating and winning a prize, the user will see the identification screen, where a message will inform them that they have 15 minutes to claim their prize. After identifying themselves, they will access the registration screen, which they must complete with their details to finalize the process and confirm their prize.
- Non-winning user: after participating and not winning a prize, the user will be directed straight to the Final screen, where they will see the "Non-winners" message, which you can customize from the Editor > Pages > Final > Non-winners message tab.
Below, we show the user experience in each situation:
When is it recommended to enable this option?
This option is especially recommended for promotions where prizes are awarded instantly upon participating, such as a prize wheel, a scratch-and-win dynamic, etc. This way, only winners will be required to provide their information to claim the prize, allowing you to collect the relevant data to manage the prizes delivery.
How is this option configured?
This new option is limited to promotions that have "Visitor Mode" enabled as the identification method.
To configure it, enter the editor of the promotion > Pages > Login and Registration > Login tab:
