The platform allows you to add users who use bad practices to your blacklist, so you can automatically exclude them from every new draw you conduct.

You can add users to your blacklist based on their participation method, giving you an individual blacklist for each participation method:

• Blacklist of users who have participated via a social network: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Blacklist of users who have participated via email.
• Blacklist of users who have participated via phone.
• Blacklist of IP addresses.

1. How to manage your blacklist

You can view your blacklist from the menu Settings > Utilities > Blacklist:

The method of adding users to the blacklist varies depending on the way or channel through which the user has participated.

2.1. Add Facebook users to the blacklist

Follow these steps to add users to your blacklist:

1. Open the management page of your giveaway and click on “View” to open the list of participants:

2.3. Add Twitter users to the blacklist

To add Twitter users to the blacklist, go to the menu Settings > Utilities > Blacklist > Twitter, and there you will find the "Add to blacklist" button:

Next, a small window will open where you can enter the Twitter username and the reason:

To add users that have participated with Email to the blacklist, go to the menu Settings > Utilities > Blacklist > Email, and there you will find the "Add to blacklist" button:

Next, a small window will open where you can enter the user's email(s). You can add multiple emails, one per line (up to 50 at a time):

2.5. Add Phones to the blacklist

To add users that have participated with Phone to the blacklist, go to the menu Settings > Utilities > Blacklist > Phone number, and there you will find the "Add to blacklist" button:

3. How to exclude the users in your blacklist from your giveaways

For each new draw you conduct, you can exclude users who are on the blacklist from participating. Here's how you can do it:

3.1. Social media giveaways (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)

Once you have imported the post you want to use for the draw, you will find the section "User exclusion rules," which presents all the options available for administrators to restrict the finalists of your draw.

Among all the options is "Exclude blacklisted users," which allows you to ensure that all users you have included in your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter blacklist (depending on the type of draw you are conducting) cannot enter the draw.

What are the Blacklist candidates?

Underneath the option to exclude blacklisted user, you will see a link that says “Blacklist candidates”. The blacklist candidates are the Facebook users that you have added to the blacklist for other Facebook pages and the system will show them here in case you want to add them to the blacklist for the current Facebook page as well.

When you click on “Blacklist candidates” you will see the users and the name of the Facebook page that they’re already on the blacklist for, as well as a box to add them to the list for the current Facebook page as well. If you tick the box, the user will be added to the blacklist and excluded from the current giveaway.

3.2. Applications Giveaways

In the case of conducting a draw with users who have participated through the registration form of any of the applications available in Easypromos' catalog (such as a Entry from giveaway, a Quiz, Survey, one of the games, etc.), you can also exclude users from the draw who you have added to your blacklist. To do this, you will find the option on the page just before conducting the draw, where you will see the checkbox "Exclude users in the blacklist," which you should select:
