2026-02-10 – New configuration option in the Vendor Portal: hide users' personal data Follow
We have added a new option in the Vendor Portal that allows you to protect the personal information of users who redeem coupons at stores.
By default, when validating a coupon through the Vendor Portal, the store can see all information related to the user who validates the coupon: prize name, assigned promotional code (if any), as well as the user's first and last name.
What this new option allows:
- Hide the user's personal data in the Vendor Portal: when this option is enabled, stores will not be able to see users' names when validating coupons at the point of sale.
- Hide data in validation downloads: if the file with validations performed by the point of sale is downloaded, users' personal information will also not be included.
This feature is useful when stores need to use the Vendor Portal to track redeemed coupons, but they do not need to access users’ personal information.
This option is found in the configuration options of the Vendor Portal:
With this update, user privacy is strengthened without affecting how the stores manage and track coupons.
