2026-07-08 - Launch of the Locations project Follow
New Project: Locations
The Points of sale feature is now called Locations and includes a major upgrade that expands its capabilities to manage promotions at physical establishments.
The goal of this project is to facilitate the creation of promotions where participation takes place in stores, restaurants, gyms, franchises, or any other physical location.
Main Updates
In addition to the name change, the module includes numerous improvements:
- New participation requirement based on the participant's physical location.
- Expanded information for each location (address, phone number, and website).
- Locations are automatically situated on a map.
- Bulk import of locations via CSV files with automatic geolocation.
- Public page with a map and list of all participating locations.
- Distribution of prize inventory among different locations.
- Direct prize delivery based on the inventory available at each location.
- Participation statistics by location.
- Filters and export of participants by location.
- Improvements to the Vendor Portal, including a new access system via email and access code, support for multiple locations per agent, and new statistics specific to each establishment.
- Location ranking to compare their activity.
Below we highlight the three main features of this project.
1. New participation requirement: Location
We have added a new requirement that allows you to validate that the participant is physically at a specific location before they can participate in the promotion.
When the user grants location permissions, the system automatically checks if they are within the radius defined by the administrator. If not, the nearest participating locations are shown to facilitate their participation.
Thanks to this requirement, it's possible to create promotions where participation can only occur at a physical establishment.
Some examples of use:
- Loyalty programs with daily check-ins at gyms, restaurants, or cafés.
- Promotions in store chains where participation is only valid from inside the establishment.
- Campaigns to increase traffic to physical points of sale.
Common case
"I have 80 stores and want to run a digital Spin the Wheel in each one. Do I need to create 80 promotions?"
No. You only need to create one promotion and activate the Location requirement. The system will automatically validate which establishment each user participates from.

2. Distribution of prize inventory by location
Another major update is the ability to distribute the prize inventory among different locations.
Each establishment has its own inventory, ensuring that only the assigned number of prizes are awarded at each location.
The tool allows you to:
- Automatically distribute inventory among all locations.
- Easily modify the units assigned to each establishment.
- Transfer inventory between locations.
- Get an overall view of prize distribution.
Common case
"Do I have to create a different prize for each store?"
No. The prize is configured once, and then you distribute its units among the different locations.

3. Publication of the Locations map
Promotion locations can be easily imported via a CSV file and automatically geolocated.
Once configured, Easypromos generates a public page with an interactive map and a complete list of participating locations.
Users can easily locate the establishment they are interested in, thanks to filters by country, state, city, or other criteria set by the organizer.
This feature makes it easier for participants to quickly find a location from which they can participate in the promotion.
