A new validation method has been added for the “Additional text” fields of the registration form of a promotion: validation using the Luhn algorithm, which allows validating a variety of identification numbers against a formula.

This formula is the Luhn algorithm. This formula can be used to verify loyalty card numbers of the users, MEI numbers etc...

To enable this validation method, an additional text field must be added to the registration form and the following options must be configured:

• In the setting options of the field, select "By Luhn's algorithm" as validation method.
• Indicate the length of the value 
• Make sure the “One-time use values” box is checked
• Check the option "Is this field mandatory?"
