3 email design ideas Follow
The Easypromos email editor allows you to customize the message content with images to adapt the email design to the needs of each campaign.
This way, you can create emails that combine text and images, emails made up of a single image, or emails composed of several images stacked vertically. You can also add a different link to each image to direct participants to different pages.
In this tutorial, we present 3 email design ideas and some recommendations for each format.
Idea 1. Email made up of a single image
Idea 2. Email made up of several stacked images
Idea 3. Email that combines text and images
Idea 1. Email made up of a single image
This consists of an email where the entire body of the message is made up of a single image, such as a visual newsletter.
Recommendations:
- Upload a 600px image. You can adjust the height to the content you want to display; for example, 1000 px if you need to include a lot of information.
- Remove the padding so that the image occupies all the available space.
- Set a background color that matches the image, especially to avoid contrasts when the screen width is greater than the image width.
- You can also make the image clickable by adding a link.
Note: This type of email does not allow you to use smart tags.
In the following video, we show the steps for creating an email made up of a single image, and also show how to remove the padding:
Idea 2. Email made up of several stacked images
You can also create an email made up exclusively of several different images placed one below the other.
This format is especially useful for newsletters and promotional communications in which each message block is designed as an independent image. You can also add a different link to each image.
Recommendations:
- Insert the different images with a width of 600 px and the height you need. You can design them in banner format to create visual blocks.
- Insert the images in the order in which you want them to appear in the body of the email.
- You can add a link to each image, so that each block directs to a different URL.
- To avoid spaces between images, remove the line breaks (
enters) between the<img>tags in the HTML code.
Note: This type of email does not allow you to use smart tags.
In the following video, we show step by step how to customize an email made up of different images:
Idea 3. Email that combines text and images
If you want to customize the email using smart tags and, at the same time, incorporate visual elements, you can create a message that combines text with one or more images.
This format allows you, for example, to include a personalized message along with an image of a prize, add information about the promotion, or complement the text with product images.
Recommendations:
- Use text for the information you want to customize using smart tags and use images as a visual complement to the message.
- You can insert images anywhere in the content, combining them with text, buttons, links, and smart tags.
- You can add a link to the images to direct participants to a specific page.
- Set a background color that matches the images to achieve a more uniform visual integration.
Tip: If you need to use smart tags, this is the recommended format, as it allows you to combine message personalization with the visual design of the images.
