2022-06-22 - "Visitor mode" promotions: option to send an automatic email when a user registers Follow
For promotions that are set up with the "Visitor mode" user identification type where users participate in the promotion before identifying and registering, we've uploaded an update to the Emails and Notifications platform 2.0 which presents the following features:
1. Prize conditions have been added to the email type 'on registering'
When you create an email of the type 'Upon registering', you can now add the prize condition. Specifically, you can add the following filters related to the prize condition:
- Has won a specific prize
- Has won a prize
- Has not won any prize
This way, you can send emails to users that, after participating in the promotion, identify themselves and register, whether they have won a prize or not.
2. The prize smart tags have been added to the 'Upon registering' email
When you write the email, you can use the smart tags "Prize Summary" and "Prize Name", in the subject line as well as the email body to include information about the prize the user has won.
Practical example:
Both features can be used to organize a Spin the Wheel promotion with Visitor mode and schedule an automatic email that will be sent when a user registers to claim the prize they've won in the prize wheel. With the email, you can send them all the information about the prize, including the promotional code or a QR code, the instructions to how to redeem the prize, etc.
