When creating a Multi-Stage type promotion (for example, an Advent Calendar, a Digital Coupon Book or a Multigame), the administrator can configure several stages with the code validation requirement: to participate the user will be requested to enter a valid code in each of the participation stages. If the "Single-use codes" option is activated, by default the system validates that the codes are unique among the codes of the same stage, meaning that the codes uploaded in the other stages are not taken into account.

A new feature has been introduced that prevents users from participating with the same receipt number or purchase code in different stages: this is the option to "Verify that the code is unique across all stages of the promotion", which allows you to indicate that the code uploaded by the user is unique among all the codes uploaded in the promotion, regardless of which stage.

This option is found in the Editor of your multi-stage promotion Participation stages, under the Requirement configuration tab:
