The old products of the Easypromos platform are those products that appear in the catalog with the "Old" label and correspond to applications that are still active but will be removed from the Easypromos application catalog in the future.

In this way, the "Old" promotions continue to be available and can still be used by the platform's clients, but they are planned to be discontinued in the future.

In particular, there are currently four applications classified as "Old" in Easypromos:

• Photo contest.
• Video contest.
• Writing contest.
• Pick your favorite.

These three applications have been replaced by the "Voting contest" application.

Benefits of the Voting contest

The "Photo Contest", "Video Contest" and "Writing Contest" applications have been unified into a single product that we now call "Voting Contest." It has been redesigned with a more modern style, new features, and additional customization and configuration options.

Here are the benefits of the Vote Contest:

1. New Admin Interface

To facilitate the implementation, the administrator has two different templates available in the contest creation process. This allows choosing the type of contest to organize based on how the content will be generated and uploaded:

• User-Generated Content (UGC): Allows organizing a contest in which users upload the content that will be displayed in a gallery, including photos, videos, and/or text.
• Content uploaded by the administrator: Allows the organizer to create a gallery to showcase multimedia content for users to vote on.

2. New Security Center

The goal of the Security Center is to enhance the quality of registered users in the contest through preventive tools and blocking of malpractices, as well as tools for analyzing fraudulent activity in the contest.

3. New option: "Request candidate information"

For the stage type "Upload your entry" (which allows users to participate by uploading multimedia content), this new option has been added, allowing users to participate in a contest by submitting an entry that is not in their name. For example: Music band contests, contests for the best project, etc.

4. Candidates management

The process for managing photos, videos, and other content uploaded by users has been enhanced. This is done through the Editor > Participation Stages > from the new tab "Candidate Management," where the list of all candidates uploaded to the contest will be displayed, along with all the tools that the administrator can use to manage participation.

5. Combine photos, videos, text, or PDFs in a single entry

Each entry can include multiple photos, videos, texts, and documents. The following media formats are supported:

• Photo and image files (PNG, GIF, JPG).
• Video files (.MOV, .MP4, .AVI, .MPEG, .WMV, WebM, 3GPP, .FLV).
• Youtube videos.
• Text-only content.
• PDF documents.
• Content based on external links.

The application features a simple interface for adding content, displaying thumbnails and progress bars for a smooth and hassle-free user experience.

6. Several galleries and categories in a single contest

It allows to organize finalists into different galleries based on categories or themes. Voters register only once and can vote in as many galleries as you decide. You can create additional galleries for different voting stages and you have control over how the candidates are displayed: the order, how many per row, and the information visible for each one.

7. Possibility to define the voting frequency and dates

You have full control over how and when users can vote. You can set the voting start and end dates, as well as the voting frequency for participants: the number of votes per hour, per day, per week, or simply specify the total number of votes allowed.

Note: The "Photo contest", "Video contest" and "Writing contest" can still be used, although they are planned to be removed from the platform in the future. Additionally, they are still supported and maintained by the Easypromos technical team. This means that if any issues or errors are detected, they are given the same priority as in other applications. However, new features or improvements are no longer designed or developed for Old promotions.
