2026-01-21 - New management of automatic emails when claiming prizes Follow
To simplify the configuration of automatic emails, we have updated the functionality related to the email that is sent to users when they claim a prize through the Claim Form.
From now on, this email is managed directly from the Email Platform, instead of from the Promotion Editor (previously, in the "Claim Form" section).
To do this, we have added a new email type to the platform: "On submit prize claim form", which is automatically sent to the user when they claim their prize, confirming that their request has been received successfully:
When configuring it, you must add the sending condition "Has claimed a prize". You can choose a specific prize to create a different email for each claimable prize, or select any prize in the promotion to create a single email.
Similarly, the notification to the promotion administrator is also managed from the Email Platform. To send an email to the promotion administrator when a user claims a prize, configure this notification from the Notifications section of the platform:
Changes applied in this update
Below we detail what the changes applied in this update consist of.
1. Centralized management of automatic emails
To simplify the interface of the Claim Form in the Promotion Editor, the "Notifications" section has been removed from this section:
In this way:
- The management of emails related to this functionality is carried out from the Email Platform, together with the other types of emails that can be configured in the promotion.
- The Editor focuses on configuring the form options.
Note: This update does not affect existing promotions that were already using email management from the Editor. It only applies to new promotions.
2. Multi-language support
If the promotion is available in multiple languages, it is now possible to create different emails based on the user’s language. This way, each participant receives the confirmation email in their preferred language.
To do so, add a second condition in the email configuration > Language > and select the corresponding language:
3. Confirmation emails by prize type
In promotions with different types of prizes, different confirmation emails can be created depending on the type of prize claimed.
You only need to add the "Has claimed a specific prize" condition and select the corresponding prize:
