2026-05-26 - Updates to Instagram Giveaways Follow
This update is intended for all customers managing giveaways with a Basic PRO license or higher, such as agencies and marketing professionals working with multiple brands and clients, promoting their giveaways with META advertising, or launching giveaways with influencers or partner brands.
We have released a major update to the Instagram Giveaway system, focusing on simplifying account management, optimizing comment import, and providing a much more comfortable experience for organizers, influencers, and agencies alike.
This update includes a new internal connection and import system, along with several functional improvements detailed below.

1. Persistent Instagram account connection
From now on, it will no longer be necessary to connect and authorize an Instagram account each time you want to create a giveaway.
The connection is made once, and the account is saved within the Instagram connections system of the administrator’s account. This greatly facilitates managing multiple accounts, especially for agencies or clients working with several Instagram profiles.
Connected accounts will be readily available for reuse in future giveaways, avoiding the need to repeatedly connect and disconnect accounts.
2. New comment import system
We have completely redesigned the comment import system to make it more robust, reliable, and user-friendly.
This system has already been tested on Instagram giveaways with 1.5M comments.
With the new system:
- It is no longer necessary to keep the screen open while comments are imported.
- Users can start the import and continue working on other tasks.
- Once the process is complete, the system can automatically send an email notification.
This improvement is especially useful for posts with a large volume of comments, where the import may take several hours.
In addition to enhancing the user experience, this update optimizes the internal performance of the import system.
3. New influencer account connection system (available only in Multi-Network Giveaways and with Basic PRO license)
We have also redesigned the process for connecting influencer accounts in collaborative giveaways.
The new flow reduces dependency between organizer and influencer and simplifies the setup:
- The organizer generates an invitation for the influencer.
- The influencer receives the invitation, connects their Instagram account, and selects the giveaway post.
- The influencer sets the deadline for access to the post.
- Once these steps are completed, the influencer does not need to take any further action.
From that moment, the connected account will automatically appear in the organizer’s saved connections list, where they can continue configuring the giveaway.
4. New Procedure for Selecting Promoted Posts
The procedure for working with promoted Instagram posts has also been updated.
The overall operation remains the same: organic posts and promoted posts continue to be managed separately, as comment import is done independently for each.
As a new feature, selecting a promoted post will require entering its ID, obtained through a new tool integrated in the platform.
This tool allows you to:
- Connect a Facebook account.
- Authorize Meta advertising permissions.
- Select an ad account.
- Choose the corresponding ad.
- Automatically obtain the promoted post ID.
The tool has been designed independently to facilitate sharing, especially in cases where an external agency manages the client’s ad account.

This update represents a significant improvement in managing Instagram giveaways, especially in environments where multiple accounts, influencers, or promoted posts are involved. The new connection and import systems streamline setup, reduce manual steps, and offer a much more stable and efficient experience.
