Condition the prizes to having completed the game Follow
Do you want to make sure that your prizes are only awarded to players who have actually achieved the objective and have overcome the game challenge? In this tutorial, we show you how to set up a score or completion condition so that the prize is awarded only to those who meet the established requirements.
First, define the challenge and set the criteria that the player must achieve, such as reaching a minimum score or completing a specific mission. Then, configure the prize so that it is assigned only when that condition is met. This way, the system will automatically check each player's results and assign the prize only to those who have successfully completed the challenge. This will ensure a fair, automatic distribution of rewards aligned with your game's objectives.

1. How to distribute a prize to all users who complete the game?
The first step to distributing a prize to users who have completed the challenge is to create the prize from the Prize Inventory section of the promotion editor.
If you want to automatically assign the prize to all users, you must select the prize type "On participating".
Once you have set up the prize and customized the message the winner will see upon completing their participation and receiving their reward, go to the "Delivery conditions" tab.
Next, click "Add condition" to make the awarding of the prize conditional on users having completed the challenge, selecting the condition type "Game completed" equal to "yes".
2. How to assign different prizes based on the user's score?
Using the exact score instead of whether or not the game has been completed offers a greater level of control and precision when assigning prizes and, in particular, allows you to assign different types of rewards and condition their delivery based on the user's minimum and maximum score when completing the game, for example:
- Assign a 10% discount to all players, even if they have not earned any points or completed the challenge.
- Give a 20% discount to users who have scored at least 500 points.
- Give a 50% discount to users who have scored 1000 points or more.
To do this, once you have created the different prizes, for each reward that will be linked to and conditioned on a specific score, go to the "Delivery conditions" tab and create a condition to specify the maximum and/or minimum score the user must have achieved in order to receive the prize.
To create a reward scale based on the score, it will be necessary to establish two conditions for the intermediate prizes. In the previous example:
- The 10% discount may have a single condition: having obtained a maximum of 499 points, or, in other words, having obtained strictly less than 500 points.
- Minimum score required: the minimum score the user must obtain to receive the intermediate prize. In the case of the 20% discount, this would be 500 points.
- Maximum score to receive the reward: the maximum score the user can obtain to receive the intermediate prize. In the case of the 20% discount, this would be 999 points or, in other words, strictly less than 1000.
- The 50% discount may have a single condition: having obtained at least 1000 points.
3. Points reference by application and game
Below, we detail the scoring for the different applications to help you define the prize delivery condition and determine the minimum score that users who have completed the challenge will have obtained, depending on the game you are configuring.
Time bonus points: In all games, an additional 10 points are awarded for each second remaining in the game. The faster the player completes the game, the more bonus points they will receive.
- Puzzle: The system awards 100 points for rearranging all the pieces and reconstructing the puzzle image.
- Memory game: The system awards 100 points for each pair of identical images found correctly. Therefore, the total for finding all pairs will depend on how many cards you have configured in the game.
- Match It: The system awards 100 points for each pair found correctly. Therefore, the total for finding all pairs will depend on how many cards have been configured in the game.
- Tap Tap: The player gains and/or loses points throughout the game, depending on the elements they have "caught" before they disappear from the screen. At the end, the total score obtained is assigned and saved in the user's session. See here more information about the score assigned according to the selected movement
- Falling Objects: The player gains and/or loses points throughout the game, depending on the objects they collect and the configuration of the OK, KO, Super OK, and Super KO elements. See here more information about the points awarded or deducted according to the element.
- Free Kick: The system awards 100 points for each goal scored. The total number of points will depend on the number of goals set by the administrator when configuring the promotion.
- Hidden Objects: The system awards 100 points for each object the player finds in the image. The total number of points will depend on the number of objects hidden in the image.
- Slide&Match: The player earns points throughout the game, depending on the combinations of elements they have managed to find. Each element in the combination can be worth between 10 and 50 points, depending on what has been configured by the administrator. See here more information about the scoring of the different elements and possible combinations.
- The Tower: The system awards 100 points for each row of the tower completed. If the player completes the tower with all its rows, they receive an additional 10 points for each cell that forms part of the final tower.
- Word Search: The player will receive 100 points for each word found. Therefore, the total number of points will depend on the number of words configured by the administrator.
- Word Shuffle: The system awards 100 points for each word found without errors, meaning that all the moves made by the user correctly place the letters of the hidden word. If the user makes one or several moves that does not place a letter correctly, the word is worth 50 points.
- Crossword: The user receives 10 points for each word guessed correctly. Additionally, the administrator can configure bonus points for completing the entire crossword within the allotted time (Number of points defined by the admin, 100 by default).
- Minesweeper: The user receives 10 points for each square uncovered that does not contain a mine. Therefore, the total number of points will depend on the total number of mines and the grid size selected by the administrator, as this affects the total number of squares in the game (6x6, 10x10 or 14x14).
From the Participation section of the editor > Access to edit the game > "Test the game" tab, you can run the necessary tests to confirm that the difficulty of the game and the associated score used to assign the prize(s) to users are correct, taking into account the game duration and bonus points.
On the other hand, you can use the Test Mode to perform complete tests of the user experience in the promotion: registration (if applicable), game, and prize assignment.
